A Week of Chaos, Chaos, and More Chaos
Hey Podbeanski's, if you're still awake in Lanark County, tune in for this week's episode. We've got a real doozy for you.
First off, let's talk about the Canada Post strike. I know, I know, super exciting stuff. Not. But hey, it's been impacting our lives...not really...or has it, so we might as well talk about it. We'll probably complain about it, laugh about it, and then forget about it in five minutes.
Next up, we've got a new show on Prime Video called "Nothing But a Good Time." It's about 80s Hair Bands or the modern DDT Dadbods, well, either way, we will have a good time with it. Shocker, I know. We'll discuss whether it's worth the watch or if it's just another mindless show to fill the void, like CCC.
Then, we'll dive into the culinary world with Duff's best beef rib recipe. I mean, who doesn't love a good beef rib? We'll break down the recipe, critique it, and probably make fun of DDTs cooking skills or lack thereof while we are at it.
Of course, no podcast is complete without a little sports chat. We'll talk about the latest games, the biggest upsets, and the dumbest injuries. And let's be honest, there's always some dumb injury to talk about at least from our Ottawa clubs...
Finally, we'll just waste some time talking about random, useless stuff. You know, the kind of stuff that makes you wonder why you're even listening to this podcast. But hey, that's what we do best! An injurious waste of time.

Podbeanski's, you ever open up your laptop and the random screensaver is amazing?  I did this morning and was welcomed by the beauty multi coloured fields of flowers and windmills of Holland.  This is the opposite of opening up a CCC Podcast, where you will be greeted with abrasive, monochromatic tones; an injurious waste of time.

It's a great day for hockey, or is it.  Why do we schedule NHL hockey in the afternoon in Ottawa in October? WHY? Also, in a limited market like Ottawa, why schedule both our professional sports teams in NHL and CFL at the same time?  This is ridiculous, what a loss, somebody should hire DDT for scheduling.  
If you're not watching pro sports on a gorgeous Ottawa Valley weekend, sorry, you must be tuning in to us.  Listen in this week as the grim reaper makes a good story, another altruistic local business recommendation will hit you hard and sorry, we overindulge in you! That's right, it was time to catch up on the listener feedback. Some might say your stories are better than ours.

Season 5 Episode 1

Perhaps you've stumbled here by accident.  Maybe you googled podcasts, or perhaps you've lost a bet, and you are forced to listen? Regardless, we are back and we are sorry.
It is Kanata South's longest running podcast, and the penultimate injurious waste of time...after of course anything on the National Canadian Political scene.
It's been a while since recording and posting, so we don't remember much of what we talked about during this episode, and we'd bet dollars to doughnuts you won't either after one week of listening.

It has been a nice slow summer sipping solo latte.  But it's also nice to have our DDT back, full to the brim with gusto and stories from the motherland.  Listen in this week as DDT takes us through Italy with his kids, kids boyfriends, his partner and her family.  Forget the athletics competition from France, DDT earns a gold medal in herding cats, argument mediation and in negotiation with the Calabrio Transit Authority...maybe a bronze for that one.
